Why do we pay a membership fee?
Leviticus 7:11-12
- Vs:11 ‘This is the law of the sacrifice of peace (thanksgiving) offerings which he shall offer to the Lord:
- Vs:12 If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer, with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, or cakes of blended flour mixed with oil.”
These Fellowship offerings serve as a token of appreciation for the time and effort invested in delivering this content to the platform. The scriptures also counsel us to offer our baked offerings unto the Lord.
Types of Membership
The fees are divided into four categories, mainly church membership fees, Sunday school fees, bible study fees and pastorship fees.
Church Membership Fee
All our church members are aware that we do not collect offerings of any kind during church services and all members are advised to contribute through a freewill offering which grants them access to weekly church sermons and other church related materials. This contributes to weekly needs as required by the church.
Sunday School Fee
This membership fee is only for those who have young ones attending our weekly Sunday school classes. This fee will assist with study materials and other weekly needs.
Bible Study Fee
This membership fee is for all Christians. Here you will have access to bible study content which aims to rectify false teachings and misinterpretations of scriptures as well as rectifying biblical text.
Pastorship Fee
This fee applies to all individuals enrolling in our pastorship classes. It is fundamental to the church that pastors uphold and teach biblical truth without fear. Given the prevalence of false teachings, it is essential that leaders themselves adhere to sound doctrine, enabling them to discern and address any deviations from biblical truth effectively.
